Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Dawood
As the CEO of Seera, Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Dawood is entrusted with designing and implementing the company’s transformation programme to become a leading travel and tourism company with a strong portfolio of trusted brands, cutting-edge technologies and excellent customer service.
Abdullah is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Entertainment Projects Company, an owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alraedah Finance Company, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), Rou’a Al Madinah, an owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, and several other Boards including Careem. Abdullah has over 11 years of experience in investment banking, where he held several executive positions, including Vice President of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in the Middle East and North Africa.
Abdullah holds a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Georgetown University in the United States as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration with honours from the same university. He holds a first class honours bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Saud University.

Abdulrahman Mutrib joined Seera in 2014 to oversee its technology functions and is the Group CTO. He is responsible for the group’s strategic planning for information technology and project management services. During his 28 years in the ICT sector, he has worked on many large-scale, billion-dollar projects in Telecommunications and Information Technology.

Albert Dias is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Musafir.com and Jett Business Travel. He built the UAE’s first OTA with Musafir in 2008 and is currently championing modern business travel with Jett. Albert has been involved in the Middle East’s Internet industry since 2003. Prior to his role at Musafir.com, he delivered award-winning digital work for brands such as Adidas, Emirates, Hilton and Jumeirah.
Albert holds a degree in computer engineering with magna cum laude honors from the American University of Sharjah and is a regular speaker on travel e-commerce technology. He’s passionate about innovation, product management and marketing. When he’s not at work, Albert spends his time on the shores of sunny Dubai with his wife and two sons.

Amit Taneja is responsible for anchoring business performance across all products, channels and international markets at Cleartrip. He sets the direction and strategy for Cleartrip’s Air, Accommodation and Activities business for Cleartrip’s growing international presence.
Prior to Cleartrip, Mr. Taneja was the Founder and Managing Director of Desiya; India’s first online hotel consolidator. Previously, he has also worked with Expedia in their Europe lodging business. He has over 17 years of experience in online travel.

Bader Al-Bader is the founder and CEO of Rehlat. He had the idea for Rehlat when his family was listing off flight options to Dubai from memory. Bader is from Kuwait and is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Yale University.

Owns the P&L for the global flights business spanning 7 countries in India and MENA. Lead business & product strategy, online marketing, growth & new market segments entry to maintain and grow market leadership. Responsible for the P&L for Cleartrip’s distribution business spanning across Corporate travel, B2B sales and tech enabled distribution. Cleartrip has one of the largest distribution led business’s in India with a marquee clientele list that includes Amazon and American Express.

Brett is not your typical finance professional, he shifted into the crazy entrepreneurial world in 2013 and has not looked back. He is a co-founder, CEO and the driving force behind Hepstar, the insure-meets-travel-tech company stimulating new schools of thought on the topic of travel ancillary product and revenue optimisation in global travel markets.
Brett is an avid traveller and tech fanatic with a passion for the impact technology will have on the travel industry. He speaks the language of travel, insurance and ancillary industries – his insights and experience having contributed significantly to the development of Hepstar’s advanced product hosting and merchandising technology stack.
Craig has over 19 year’s experience in building online start-ups across Australia , Asia and Middle East. In 2005 he co-founded Wego.com, a leading online travel marketplace focused on Asia and Middle East.
As part of Wego’s founding team he successfully helped to execute the early start up idea into a scalable business servicing over 19 million consumers per month. Wego has since attracted growth capital from renowned venture capital firms like Square Peg Capital, Tiger Global & Crescent Point.
Craig has lived and worked in Cape Town, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore and often gets too distracted with anything to do with visual design – sucker for logos and branding.

James was appointed Vice President Commercial India Middle East & Africa in January 2016. James has over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry covering the hospitality, airline, and tour operator sectors.
His role provides direction, oversight and expert-level sales, brands, revenue and marketing leadership to all our IHG brands. He is responsible for adapting our global marketing strategy by developing and executing a defined and integrated in region sales and marketing plan that supports consistent business revenue growth and profitability.
He manages the business ideas and strategies relevant to sales and marketing that will grow revenue share penetration into the marketplace, improve guest satisfaction and increase owner returns on their investment.
James joined IHG in 2005 and has travelled the world with leadership roles in London, Dubai, and Singapore. Previously he worked in the airline industry with bmi (British Midland) and Trailfinders, the UK’s largest independent tour operator.
Born in Maidstone, England, he is Business graduate who majored in Marketing from Southampton Solent University. James lives in Dubai with his wife Andrea, son Calum and daughter Lauren. When not working James enjoys cycling, keeping fit & travelling.

Julia Randow is a Swedish citizen of the world and passionate travel enthusiast with twelve years of experience within travel tech, market places, sales and leadership. Global profile with work experience from Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Director of Sales at GetYourGuide one of the world’s leading online booking platforms for tours and activities. Julia is in charge of expanding GetYourGuide’s business in the Middle East and APAC, establishing local presence and coaching senior leaders to build teams that deliver incredible customer experiences. Outside of work you will find Julia on a surfboard in Bali or skiing powder in the Alps.

Lisa is heading Strategy and M&A activity for Etraveli Group, one of the leading global flight centric OTAs. The Group is backed by CVC Capital Partners and has offices in Sweden and Greece. It operates in 50+ countries through brands such as Gotogate, Supersaver and Mytrip and enjoys top positions in the Nordics, Southeastern Europe as well as in the Middle East through trip.ae. It also operates flygresor.se, the #1 metasearcher in Sweden. We are a team of more than 600 people.
Lisa has been working in the travel industry since 2011. She joined e-Travel, a South East European OTA in 2012. As part of e-Travel’s management team she helped grow revenues 3x and the business from a team of 60 to c.200 employees until the company joined forces with Etraveli in 2017 and was welcomed into the CVC family. Prior to joining e-Travel she was a venture capitalist investing in e-commerce. She started her career in advertising. Whether it’s being the link between the creatives and the customer, software engineers and customer needs, or between investors and entrepreneurs she has been performing “translation” duties for 15 years. She holds a BSc in Economics from LSE and and an MBA from INSEAD.

Mamoun serves as Managing Director, Wego Middle East. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the region, he passionately drives revenue and market growth in the Middle East, North Africa and India and leads the region’s operations.
Hmedan began in this role in October 2014 where he focused on developing the product as well as played an integral role in expanding the company’s portfolio and hiring the right talent across MENA and India. Prior to that, he established the Advertising sales unit in 2013 and was the Acting GM for the MENA region.
Mamoun’s vast experience along with his strong leadership skills and significant multinational experience brings in new dynamism in the management team. His solid background with sales operations, retail, e-commerce and thorough understanding of the importance of partners is profound and has helped the company become the largest travel marketplace in MENA.
Mamoun today leads a growing innovative team from the company’s Dubai headquarters.

An internationally-recognised management consultant and operations executive, he leverages his vast experience in scaling and optimising operations to enable sustainable growth and cater to the MENA region’s evolving travel needs through seamless, technology-driven omni-channel experiences. As a former Senior Manager at Accenture Strategy, Muzzammil has led projects for a range of international clients. He holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

Paulina Klotzbucher has spent almost 15 years in various verticals in ecommerce and the last decade in the OTA space with Travelstart. In those years she has worked on the technology front as the CTO and later driving the sales and marketing initiatives as CDO/CMO. She currently spends her time between Cape Town, Dubai and Cairo in the role of Managing Director heading up the Northern Markets and focusing on all spheres of the business; expanding Travelstarts’ reach into the MENA region which also includes developing incubation markets. She has an undergraduate in finance and accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand and later a postgraduate in marketing and information systems from the University of Cape Town.

Prashant Kirtane is the CEO and co-founder of Travelstop. Headquartered in Singapore, the company sets out to revolutionize business travel for SMEs by providing a simple, flexible, and integrated solutions for business travellers.
Prior to Travelstop, Prashant co-founded Travelmob, a leading company in the vacation rental industry, which was acquired by Expedia’s subsidiary Home Away. Prior to his ventures into startups and the travel/vacation industry, Prashant worked for 12 years at Yahoo!, where he was the Senior Director of Engineering (Video).

Remo Giovanni Abbondandolo
Remo Giovanni Abbondandolo is the VP of Business Development at Checkout.com for the MENA region. Prior to joining Checkout.com Remo led the Middle East expansion for Travelstart. Previously, Remo helped found Africa Internet Accelerator (one of Naspers’ investments), which launched three of the fastest growing e-commerce businesses in South Africa. He also worked at Rocket Internet Australia & South East Asia where he was a founding member of the team that launched leading e-commerce companies The Iconic, Zalora and Lazada.

He is also Singapore Co-Chair of H2, the premier global leadership network for the digital industry. Ross has been an active angel investor in the technology sector for a decade and enjoys working with other passionate entrepreneurs. He has worked in Sydney, Melbourne, London, Kuala Lumpur and is now splits his time between Singapore and Dubai. He travels frequently for business but not nearly enough for leisure.

Mr. Sharma has an engineering degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Karnataka, and a Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB). A gold medallist from IIMB and a technology buff with a few patents, he enjoys parenting & solving crosswords in his free time.

Su Ramanathan is the Director of Destination Marketing at Expo 2020 Dubai UAE. As a former Director at VisitBritain (British Tourist Authority), Su brings a wealth of destination development and marketing experience to Expo 2020 where she is responsible for driving visitation through global business promotional strategy and marketing campaigns focusing on travel verticals.
Su has over 12 years of experience in destination development and the tourism sector with VisitBritain and honed her expertise in various international locations including London, Dubai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Her last role at VisitBritain was Director of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa where she focused on strategic market development, partnerships with key airlines and travel entities, activation of brand partnerships, collaborative projects with diplomatic and government entities and pioneering marketing campaigns including celebrity and brand ambassadors programme in over 15 markets.
Prior to VisitBritain, Su has had brief stints in banking, engineering and construction and held senior roles in the private tertiary education sector.

Yeoh Siew Hoon
Yeoh Siew Hoon is the founder of WiT, launching it in Singapore in 2005 and going on to launch WiT editions across Asia Pacific. In 2016, WiT Europe made its debut in London, days after the Brexit vote.
WiT has won several awards including Most Innovative Marketing Initiative and Trade Conference Of The Year from the Singapore Tourism Board and in 2014, Siew Hoon was recognised Tourism Entrepreneur of The Year. A journalist by profession and passion, she’s also a speaker and facilitator at events around the world.
