The Global Startup Pitch leverages the expertise of WiT, Phocuswright and industry partners to surface the most innovative technologies impacting travel today. Welcoming both travel and non-travel startups who believe their businesses have application in the travel industry, we will uncover gems in Americas, Europe, Middle East/Africa and Asia Pacific. Accepted startups will gain access to a top-class network of judges, as well as data, insight, and exposure to investors and partners. The Global Startup Pitch Competition is part of our ongoing commitment to cultivating innovation including our WiT Bootcamps, Phocuswright Startup Program, Hot25 Startups, Summit, and an industry-driving global network of leaders on the gleaming edge of innovation.
Here’s how it will run
Round 1
May 24, 2023
Up to 20 Startups present their innovations to a global panel of judges in a formal online event. Up to 18 Startups will advance to the semifinals.
Semifinals

2023
Up to 18 selected Startups compete in a formal online event. Up to 6 will be selected to compete in the Grand Finals.
Grand Finals
October 2–4,
2023
The finalists will complete in the Grand Finals during the live, in-person WiT Singapore Conference. One will be selected as the Startup of the Year and granted a presentation during The Phocuswright Conference.
