The Global Startup Pitch, by WiT, Phocuswright and PhocusWire, is back for the fourth year running in its quest to unearth the brightest stars on the gleaming edge of travel tech.

 

Welcoming both travel and non-travel startups who believe their businesses have application in the travel industry, we aim to uncover gems representing the different sectors of travel, from these regions across the world  – Asia/Pacific, Middle East/Africa, Europe and the Americas. 

 

Whether you’re a tech startup in hospitality, transportation, tours & activities, B2B or B2C, AI, data or sustainability, this is your opportunity to gain access to a top-class network of judges, as well as data, insight, and exposure to investors and partners, and build relationships within the industry.

HERE'S HOW IT WILL RUN

Step 1

Submit your Entries

Submission deadline: 15 Apr

Entries will be submitted to the collective audience of Northstar Travel Group. This includes WiT, Phocuswright, and PhocusWire.

 

A prestigious panel of judges from the industry’s investment and innovation community will then screen applicants and choose 16 startups to compete at the finals on stage at Phocuswright Europe in Barcelona, Spain, Jun 10–12.

Step 2

Finals at
Phocuswright Europe

The 16 finalists will present live on Phocuswright Europe‘s Startup Stage.

 

8 winners from 4 regions (Asia/Pacific, Middle East/Africa, Europe and The Americas) will then be scored by our panel of judges, and win the opportunity to attend and showcase on stage at WiT Singapore, Oct 6–8.

 

Each region will feature 2 seedup and 2 scaleup companies.

Step 3

People’s Choice at
WiT Singapore

The 8 winners will present live on WiT Singapore‘s Main Stage.

 

2 winners, scored by our panel of judges and voted by the audience, will win the People’s Choice Award and the opportunity to attend and showcase on stage at The Phocuswright Conference in San Diego, California, Nov 18–20.
